Knowledge Management in Digital Work Environments - State of the Art and Outlook

About the conference

The professional management of knowledge is a critical success factor for all organizations, which affects all organizations in business and society.

Successful knowledge management initiatives are always characterized by an integrative approach. Critical success factors like organizational culture and processes, skills and competencies, leadership as well as information and communication technology must be coordinated within a strategic business orientation.

The ongoing digital transformation has opened up new opportunities for organizations to support the exchange of knowledge and knowledge work. New and additional data can be collected, processed and evaluated in ever-larger quantities in order to gain new insights and knowledge.

The 10th Conference on Professional Knowledge Management aims to focus on the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in the digital work environment. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of this GI conference, a look back at developments to date as well as an outlook into the future is to be daring: How will we deal with knowledge in a more digitalized society and economy? What experience should we take on board? Where do new possibilities open up? Therefore, the motto of the conference:

10th Conference on Professional Knowledge Management:
Knowledge Management in Digital Work Environments - State of the Art and Outlook

The biennial conference brings together representatives from research and practice in invited lectures, workshops, tutorials and an accompanying industry exhibition to discuss experiences, professional applications and visions.

The main technical-scientific program of the conference combines several thematically independent workshops, which are an essential part of the conference program, in a proven format.
